EDO ERA TRIBUTE PACK Now known as Tokyo, Edo was one of the first cities in the world to follow sustainable practices, so we were inspired to create the Edo Era Tribute pack and pay homage to the ASICS Japanese heritage. Sustainability remains a priority for our brand, which is why we are continuing to explore new product manufacturing and packaging methods to refine our recycling process. Approximately 300,000 PET bottles were recycled to manufacture this collection. As our brand focuses on becoming more sustainable, these shoes are constructed with recycled polyesters in the upper. You will receive this shoe in a new shoebox that is made from 100% recycled paper and 10% less material. This box also uses a water-based ink that reduces ink usage by about 50%.
Continuing to evolve within its lineage, the GEL-QUANTUM 180 5 sneaker revamps the design of its predecessor with a 3D printed upper and a more intuitive fit. Formed with 3D printed overlays on the upper construction, this shoes mesh upper is complemented with an intuitive fit system that creates a customized feel. Additionally, the eyestay is complemented with asymmetrical laces and internal gilley eyelets that support a locked-in fit. Paired with a bold GEL logo on the heel counter, this shoe is also layered with 180 degrees of GEL technology cushioning in the midsole for excellent underfoot comfort.
