We’ve had some requests to celebrate University of
Cincinnati legend Kenyon Martin’s NBA career, so what
better time to do so than on the 25th anniversary of his
rookie season.
Martin was drafted by the Nets with the 1st overall pick in
the 2000 NBA Draft. He averaged 12 points and 7.4
rebounds in his rookie season, earning him the #2 spot in
the Rookie of the Year voting.
He spent four season with New Jersey before being
traded to the Nuggets prior to the start of the 2004 - 05
season.
